How we track new apps
newaigirlfriend follows AI girlfriend and companion apps for adults as they appear, and records what each one brings. We do not make any of these apps. We list 17 new apps and 19 established ones today, last checked on 7 Nov 2026.
Where the date comes from
Almost no app publishes a launch date, and we never invent one. The date on every page is the day the app's domain was first registered, taken from the registry's own public record (RDAP), and linked so you can check it. A domain can be registered before an app goes live, so read it as “no earlier than”. If an app publishes a launch date, we show it with its source.
Where features and prices come from
- Features, plans, prices and free allowances are read from the app's own website, on the date shown next to them.
- A free tier is a number (for example 50 messages a day) or a plain “not published”. We never write “free” on its own.
- A price we could not read is “not published”, never a guess.
How the community ranking works
Every app, new or established, is ranked by what people wrote about it on Reddit. We count public posts we hold for each app, each labelled positive, mixed or negative, and show the number of posts beside every figure. This is a count of what people wrote, not a survey.
- A positive post counts 1, a mixed post counts half, a negative post counts 0.
- The score is the lower bound of a 95% confidence interval on that share (the Wilson method), times 100. Fewer posts mean a wider interval and a lower score, so two happy posts do not beat nine out of twelve.
- An app needs at least 3 posts to be ranked; the rest are listed as not having enough posts yet.
- Themes (price and tokens, memory, filters, images and video, voice, chat quality, billing) are counted by the words each post uses. A post can touch several.
- Posts were pulled on 7 Nov 2026. Discord is not counted yet.
What we never do
- We do not claim to have used or tested an app. Articles explain what an app offers from what it publishes.
- We never list undress or “nudify” tools, under any name.
- We show no explicit images. Posters and page images are the app's own homepage or share image, each looked at before it goes up; anything explicit, young-looking or using someone else's characters is left out, and those apps get a plain gradient.
- Quotes, when we use them, are word for word and linked to where they were said.
Partner links
Most links to apps are plain links. A few apps run a partner program we belong to; those links carry a partner badge and may earn us a commission if you sign up, at no cost to you. Being a partner does not change whether or how an app is listed.
